Obituary for Barbara S Geiser
Barbara Simmons Geiser, age 91, died on Friday, February 3, 2023 at her home. Services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church, Stillwater.
Barbara was born on July 10, 1931 in Alex, Oklahoma on the farm to Austin and Mary Louise Cone Simmons. She married Joseph A. McCarthy Jr. on October 20, 1951 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. After getting a divorce in June, 1966, She attended the University of Oklahoma and was an Interior Designer. She married Louie R. Geiser on December 22, 1979. They were members of the First United Methodist Church in Stillwater, OK. Her hobbies were playing Bridge, Cribbage, and Reading.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Brother Cone Simmons, and Son Bruce McCarthy.
She is survived by her husband Louie Geiser and daughter Deborah A. McCarthy, grandchildren, Austin McCarthy and Carson Pundsack, and great-grandchildren Bryce Siirila and Reece Siirila.
