Obituary for Carlynn Marie Groshong
Carlynn Marie Groshong, age 76, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed away on December 20, 2022, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
The daughter of Carl and Agnes Kolbo, she was born in Neillsville, Wisconsin on December 16, 1946.
Carlynn completed three years of college and also graduated from Bellevue Beauty School. During her lifetime she had been a mother, homemaker and was very involved in activities at Stillwater Bible Church. Her favorite things to do were baking and sewing and selflessly, she loved helping others.
Carlynn married Merwood Groshong on August 23, 1975 in Snohomish, Washington.
Preceding her were brothers Gerald Morris Kolbo and Vernon Charles Kolbo.
Survivors include one son, Ian Groshong; grandchildren, Ashtyn and Corbyn Groshong; great-grandson, Brantley Reed; sister C. Christine Kolbo-Ashley; and brothers, Leslie James Kolbo, John Dewar Kolbo, and Joel Robert Kolbo.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend J. B. Bond officiating.
