Clarence "Ray" Slavens, age 69, of Glencoe, Oklahoma, died Monday, March 13, 2023. Memorial services are pending.

C. Ray Slavens was born to Iven and Edna Slavens on January 16, 1954 in Stillwater. Ray married the love of his life Glenda (Ezekiel) Slavens in 1976. He started his plumbing career in 1978 which he continued until he retired in 2020.
Ray was a kind and caring man who never met a stranger. He was an amazing husband, dad, grandpa, great grandfather, and friend. He will truly be missed.

Ray was preceded in death by both parents; two sisters, and his daughter Melissa Ray Slavens in 2007.

He is survived by his wife Glenda; his children Dawn Murray, James Slavens and wife Julie; his grandchildren Chandler Slavens, Derrick Slavens, Dalton Slavens, Mechell Decker, Andrea Krema, Courtney Clay, Kevin Leras and Kennith Leras; nine great grandchildren; six sisters and three brothers.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the family to help with expenses.
