Obituary for Delores Ann Holba
Delores Holba, age 86, of Yale, Oklahoma died Monday, April 24, 2023. Funeral services officiated by Mr. Steve Holley will begin at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.
Delores was born December 25, 1936 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Henry and Edith (Frank) Adler. She was a graduate of Morrison High School, and worked at the OSU Student Union Food Service and later at the OSU Bursar's Office. She was a member of the Town and Country Christian Church in Yale, Oklahoma. Delores loved to sew. She would make her own patterns on brown paper bags, and she also made all of her grandkids afghan blankets.
Delores married her husband Ernest Holba on July 10, 1955 in Stillwater. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2019.
Members of her family include her daughter Brenda Brown and husband Steve; her son Kevin Holba and wife Dianne; her brothers Larry Adler and wife Linda and Clinton Adler and wife Joy; her sisters Patsy Michaelis and Sharon West and husband Lynn; her grandchildren Andy Edens and wife Amy, Josh Brown and wife Bethany, Jon Brown, Victoria Masters and husband Jesse, Amanda Masters and husband Ethan, Debi Brown, and Kaleb Holba; and 11 great-grandchildren. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
