Obituary for Eulas Deverle Nelson
Eulas "Ed' Nelson, age 84, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, died Monday, January 30, 2023 at his home. Services will be at 2:00 on Saturday February 4, 2023 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater.
Ed was born January 8, 1939 in Crescent, Oklahoma, to Bryan and Helen Nelson.
Ed graduated from Crescent High School and worked for Otasco and Oklahoma State University.
He married Margaret Nelson on June 12, 1959 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Ed's hobbies included going to garage sales, wood working, setting up at flea markets, collecting numerous items, and attending his grandchildren's ballgames.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret; his daughter Leslie Nelson; his parents Bryan and Helen; and brothers Merle Nelson, Kenneth Nelson, Wondel Nelson and Deral Nelson.
He is survived by his brother Marion and wife Eileen Nelson of Stillwater; his sons Mike Nelson and wife Jennifer of Perry, Doug Nelson and wife Lisa of Stillwater, and Don Nelson and wife Amy of Fort Worth, Texas.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Jeneva Nelson, Mackayla Nelson, Michaelanne Nelson, Newell Nelson, Mackinzie Crutchfield, and his great-granddaughters Kinzlie Jewyl and Ever Loyal.
