Obituary for Lawrence Eldon Carrier

Lawrence Eldon Carrier of Ripley was born November 4, 1935 to Ed & Bessie Carrier in Thomas, Oklahoma. He finished his earthly journey on December 21, 2022. He moved with his parents to Logan county when he was young where he attended and graduated from Coyle Public Schools. He also attended Central State University and Oklahoma State University.
Music was always a big part of Lawrence's life. He played the tuba in high school and college. He played-the guitar, played in a dance band and sang in men's quartets. He played and sang with his brother's bluegrass band and recorded several CDs. He led the singing and directed the choir in the churches he attended and was the last charter member of Cushing Christian
