Obituary for Lennett Maelena Birgam

Lennett Maelena Birgam, 51, died December 21, 2022 in Stillwater, OK. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.

Lennett was born October 10, 1971 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and she moved to Stillwater in 1991, where she attended Stillwater High School. In 1995 she moved in with her sister and brother-in-law. After graduation in 1993, she began working at Mpower where she continued to work until her death.

Lennett was very involved with her work, and in Special Olympic Bowling and anything her nephews did. Lennett was a helper, she loved to do things for others and the community and especially for her boys whether it was baseball, band, FFA or anything else they did. She also loved her OSU Cowboys and Cowgirls. She held season tickets in several sports, and always kept track of the game scores just to make sure they did it right. She even knew how to record all her games on TV at home so she could watch the wins many times over.

She was a person with special needs, but most important she was a very special person. Anyone that knew her was blessed to get to know her. Though not born here, Stillwater was her home.

Lennett is preceded in death by her mother, Cathy Townsend and Step Father, Guy Townsend.

She is survived by her sister Collett Campbell; her brother-in-law Maury Campbell; her triplet nephews Alleyn, Brandon, and Collen Campbell. She is also survived by her father Robert Birgam and Uncle Lenard Farrar.
