Obituary for David Vargas
David Vargas, age 29, of Stillwater Oklahoma, passed away on December 8, 2022 at Stillwater Medical Center. A Rosary service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Stillwater. The Mass of Christian of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at St. Francis Xavier with burial following in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

David was born in Modesto, California, on September 2, 1993, son of Luis and Consuelo Vargas. David is survived by his parents; his brother, Danny Vargas; his sisters, Alma Bear, and Juanis Sanchez; his nephews, Allen, Julian, Noel, and Lorenzo.
Although born in California, David would call Stillwater his home. David graduated from Stillwater High School, as well as Meridian Technology Center earning an Automative Technician certification. He also studied at Oklahoma State University for a year before choosing to devote his time to the family owned business, El Tapatio, where he worked alongside his siblings to manage the restaurant until his death.
David was a loyal friend, a devoted brother, and loved to make others laugh. David loved to spend time with his friends and family. His joy, laughter, and his warmhearted personality rubbed off on those around him. David has been, and always will be loved by many. He will be deeply missed by his friends, his family, and all who knew him.
