Obituary for Samuel Joe Schaefer
Samuel Schaefer, 85, died June 17, 2023 in Cushing, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 in the Bethel Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.
Samuel was born May 20, 1938. He was the son of Joe and Margaret Schaefer. He has two brothers Pete Schaefer and Ron Schaefer. He attended the Catholic School in Okarche and was also a member of the Catholic Church there. He married the love of his life Patricia Schaefer (deceased) on July 5, 1969 and they were married for 47 years. Samuel worked as a carpenter and a farmer.
He loved spending his free time with his family.
Samuel is preceded in death by his wife; and his brother Ron Schaefer.
Samuel is survived by his children, Jason and wife Tisha Schaefer, Rita Schaefer, Brad and his wife Christine Schaefer; one brother Pete Schaefer; grandchildren Erik and wife Taylor Webb, Ashton and fiancé Kendall Kistler, Matt Schaefer, Jake Webb, Ethan Schaefer, Jasper Webb, and Bailey Schaefer; great grandchild Hadley Webb.
Paul bearers are Erik Webb, Matt Schaefer, Jake Webb, Ethan Schaefer, Jasper Webb, Kendall Kistler.
