Obituary for Traci Michelle Parsel
It is with great sadness that we announce that Traci Michelle Parsel, age 59, of Stillwater, Oklahoma passed peacefully in her home on March 28, 2023 surrounded by her husband Matt and daughter Kassandra after battling pancreatic cancer. Traci requested no services.
Traci was born March 1, 1964 to Gary Lee Stephens and Mary Lucille (Busch) Daughtery. She was loved and adored by all of her family, especially her husband, her four children, and her 11 grandchildren. Traci had a passion and great joy for driving a bus and loved all of her students greatly. During her life she won several awards for her bus driving skills and took much pride in her job.
Traci enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, driving a bus, crafting and creating things, riding motorcycles, good music, gardening and being outside.
Traci is survived by her husband Matthew Parsel of Stillwater, Oklahoma; her parents Gary Stephens of Cushing, Oklahoma and Mary Daugherty, also of cushing; her sisters Robin Buckles of Cushing and Leah Smith and husband Jeremiah Smith of Perkins, Oklahoma; her brother John Stephens and wife Jennifer Stephens of Stillwater; her children James Snead and wife Amanda Snead of Beaufort, SC., Kristopher Snead of Tulsa, OK, Kassandra Sams and husband Eric Sams of Cushing, and Clayton Snead of Cushing. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
