Valerie Jean Owen, age 57, of Stillwater, died Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at her home. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Valerie was born to Kenneth Frank Isbell, and Mary Waldena Kay on February 4, 1966 in Enid, Oklahoma. She attended Enid High School in Enid, Oklahoma and Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kansas. Her occupation was a bookkeeper. She enjoyed sewing and working with horses.

She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Frank Isbell and brother John Paul Isbell.

Surviving members of her family include her mother Mary and step-father Lindell Kay; son Aaron Owen and wife Christina and daughter Mary Longhurst and husband Joshua; grandchildren Alex Owen Longhurst, Riley Owen Longhurst, Madlynn Salmon, Joah Longhurst and Ashton Miller.

Valerie is also survived by brother Kenneth Isbell; sisters Rebecca Logan and husband Arvin and Susan Hartford and husband Harry.
