So sad to hear of Barbara's untimely passing. I had the pleasure of volunteering with her in High Desert Cat Rescue in Albuquerque. She was not only a dedicated volunteer, but was also a wonderful foster parent to a number of wayward felines who ended up in our care. It was a huge loss to our group when she retired and moved away. I will forever remember her quiet strength and sense of humor; she could always make me laugh!
